Founder / engineer / builder

I build useful things.

Software, automation, applied AI, data systems and strange interactive experiments—built end-to-end, from the first messy idea to a system people can actually use.

I’m most useful in the gap between “this is a mess” and “this now works.” I’ve spent two decades moving between code, products, infrastructure, automation, customers and commercial reality.

02 / Story

A slightly unusual route into engineering.

Built an online video platform before “creator economy” was a phrase.

Designed, coded, ran and monetised the product myself during the early consumer-web-video era.

Sold it in a seven-figure acquisition.

The platform was acquired by Hand Held Entertainment, a NASDAQ-listed Silicon Valley company. That experience permanently blurred the line between engineer, founder, product person and operator for me.

Built automation around an ugly real-world problem.

ProTek Media / xTakedowns became a long-running laboratory for crawling, data engineering, operational systems, browser automation, evidence and reliability at scale.

Applied AI, product systems and tools with leverage.

I’m focused on software where AI is part of the machinery—not a decorative chatbot—and on products that remove friction from actual work.

03 / Capabilities

Pick a layer.

I’m comfortable moving up and down the stack, which is often more useful than being brilliant at only one layer.

01

Product engineering

Full-stack systems that connect user experience, business rules, databases, integrations and deployment.

04 / Work with me

I’m useful when the brief is still a little ugly.

01

Build a product

From prototype through architecture, implementation, deployment and the uncomfortable details between them.

02

Fix a system

Untangle legacy workflows, automate repetitive operations, modernise infrastructure and remove expensive friction.

03

Add useful AI

Find where models actually create leverage, then connect them to tools, data, permissions and real workflows.

04

Technical consultancy

Product direction, architecture, unusual integrations, Spain-facing technical coordination and difficult problem solving.
